J. M. JANDA'S BOZAR (beaux-arts)
Although from Wisconsin, J. M. Janda began her Art career
in 1981 in St. Louis, MO, taking many courses there at different
schools and in different areas having already earned a B.A. in
English and a M.A. in Psychology.
"Janda" then went on to live in Brussels, Belgium, where she
attended L'Academie Royale des Beaux-Arts for two years
and travelled extensively throughout Europe, to Kenya and to
Hungary. She supplemented her travels by reading over seventy
Art History books.
Janda has worked in oils, acrylics, watercolors and has done
"experimental paintings" using spray paint as well. She is
a member of the International Society of Photographers and
has had fifteen photographs reach the semi-finals in contests
sponsored by the ISP. She has now been nomiated to the ISP's Hall of Fame for two of her photos.
At this writing, her works have been juried into twenty-one
shows and she has sold from coast-to-coast in the USA.
